Double-flange crane wheels (К2R)
Double-flange crane wheels (shortly: wheel K2R) have two side ridges (flanges). Usually used for tower cranes, cranes moving along curved sections of the road or improper railed ways.
To ensure normal flotation crane wheel K2R has its wheel tread width 30-40 mm more than rail head width, for crane trolleys this difference makes 15— 20 mm.
